Node earnings originate from two independent yet complementary channels:
Minting Rewards: New $OR tokens minted by the protocol each cycle, serving as a subsidy for nodes participating in network security consensus and providing foundational computational resources, allocated according to Proof of Computation weight.
Task Rewards: $OR token fees paid by developers or users for using the network to execute actual AI inference or training tasks. These fees are directly distributed to the nodes performing the specific computational work, in proportion to the resources they consume.
